PONDMASTER PRO-HY-DRIVE™ Pumps are high-capacity pumps designed specifically for use in larger pond installations. The new design of the HY-DRIVE pump combines the benefits of magnetic and direct-drive technologies to deliver an extremely quiet, energy efficient, low maintenance pumping source. Several models are available, delivering up to 5,700 GPH. Energy efficient and powerful enough to deliver an active and energetic waterfall display or power an effecive skimmer or pressure filter, HY-DRIVE pumps are the latest in pond pump technology. The heavy-duty polypropylene enclosure has a built-in carry handle and an effective molded-in debris screen. The external screen can be removed to expose an 1-1/2" female pipe thread connection. HY-DRIVE pumps can be positioned vertically or horizontally and can be used underwater as a submersible pump or as an inline, external pump. If used outside the pond, the pump must be below the waterline since it will not self prime.
