The poppet assembly is designed to break if an unexpected freeze occurs, protecting the more expensive body from cracking and spliting. The poppet is easy to replace, and can be installed without removing the assembly from the line. This repair kit does not include the "O" ring. The "O" ring is included with the bonnet repair kit.
